Photoshop Training: What's New

Whatever your line of work, Photoshop has something for you, something that will just make your work better. So you have probably used the earlier versions of Photoshop; but, have you tried Photoshop CS2? It's a program with very powerful features. There is, for example a feature called Font Review which enables the person using the software to see what each font looks like in the font menu. Of course, this is just one of the many exciting features in Photoshop CS2.

Lets look at the features that will be covered in the training course for Photoshop CS2, besides the Font Review. The first thing that strikes your eye if you have worked in the older Photoshop versions is the fact that the file browser is totally new and this is called the Adobe Bridge. The feature is stand-alone and you can use it for all the applications in Adobe, be it Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator or Acrobat. You can navigate through your applications and your files from this feature which functions like a control point. This is what makes file sharing and organization a breeze and your photos are always in hand when you are working. You also have an interface that is customizable so you can control all that clutter on your desktop as well as well as manage any item by showing, hiding or color coding it. There is an enhanced information palette as well which has a lot of tips, settings and information.

The new Layers palette helps you select multiple layers and has a shortcut while the new blur filters allows you to blur surfaces, boxes and shapes. One powerful filter in this new software is called Vanishing Point which lets you add or remove objects and yet your design will always have the right perspective. When you clone, paint, or paste, whatever you add just falls into that perfect perspective automatically and fits in with all the elements already there.

You can polish your photographs by removing the noise with the Reduce Noise Filter and all you need to do to remove the red eye in your photos is to click on this Red Eye Tool. With the Image Warping tool, you can warp images as well. This is the first time this feature is available in Photoshop. Before, you could only warp type but not images. It now allows warping of any object, layer, or selection.

You also have a new layer called Smart Objects where you can modify anything without the worry of wondering whether your files are all right or not. This ensures that your files do not get destroyed.

Photoshop CS2 has its very own animation palette and with this tool, you can create animations that are Internet ready.

So many powerful features; shouldn't you be getting the best out of them by signing up for a Photoshop CS2 training course?
