One year after opening their cooperative artists’ gallery, the founding members of the Salt Spring Gallery of Fine Art are celebrating a successful venture with a whole stable of newly joined participants.

The Dr. John M. Thomason Public Library in Olanta will kick off its family story time programming at 7 p.m. Sept. 16. This program is open to families with children ages 3-9 years. It consists of stories, games, and songs and lasts about 45 minutes.
